Kayaking along the Cilento Coast – it takes more than a day!
Agropoli & Castellabate, Acciaroli, Pioppi & Casalvelino, Pisciotta & Palinuro, Marina di Camerota, the ‘Infreschi Coast’ and Scario
The coastline of the Cilento National Park is one of the most diverse of Italy. You will see that some parts, like Castellabate, Acciaroli and Palinuro, for a good reason have become famous seaside resorts, but also that it takes only a little effort to get ‘off the beaten track’. At only a few hundred metres away from the crowds, you will find yourself surrounded by nature, paddling along the rocky shores of the Tresino or Licosa Peninsula, or going ashore at one of the stunning beaches of the ‘Costa degli Infreschi’.
The Cilento is definitely one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe, an intriguing mix between an overwhelming natural environment and cultural heritage. Paddling along the Cilento Coast offers you an opportunity to experience a blend of nature and architecture like no other. The view from the waterline highlights the dramatic cliffs of the south coast and the olive groves and forest of the West.
It definitely takes more than a day to do this stunning coastline justice!
For that reason Genius Loci travel does usually not offer day trips. However, occasionally, in between our tours there might be the possibility that one of our kayaking guides is available to explore a small part of the coast with you, starting from either Agropoli, Pioppi or Palinuro.
We can offer these day trips in combination with an overnight stay in one of the finest and/or best located hotels in the area.
For health and safety reasons we do NOT rent out our kayaks without a guide, unless previously approved (usually only with official certification – BCU 3-stars or similar).
Please contact us for availability – we will put you in touch with our guides.
This is a fully licensed, safe adventure, guaranteed by Genius Loci Travel.
